Lloyd is a member of the board of directors of the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham. Originally created in 1959 by a group of prominent community leaders, the foundation has connected many influential community individuals to "build a stronger, more vibrant future for [the] community." The foundation serves the communities in the regions surrounding Birmingham, AL, including Blount, Jefferson, St. Clair, Shelby and Walker counties.
Lloyd is a member of the board of directors as well as a member of the finance committee of the Baptist Health Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The nonprofit is the central hub for all philanthropic gifts for the Baptist Health System and its four hospitals. Their mission is to use the funding and the community resources available to "enhance the health, dignity and wholeness of those [they] serve."
Lloyd is a member of the board of directors of the Parkinson Association of Alabama, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is dedicated to being a resource and support group for new and improved treatments of Parkinson's disease. The nonprofit founders were also patients with the disease and their family members, as well as additional medical professionals.
